Our company Fast Cars Direct is in need of a sponsor for a Fast Car to promote our business. We will put an advertisement of your company or your choosing on the car to give you exposure for your sponsorship. The car will be advertised in a prime location of our site for all web viewers. Prefer a year 2005+ model, a new car would be excellent, performance enhancement is optional. Would like a sports car as opposed to any other type of car (it needs to be fast). The car will be used to travel to car shows and for advertisement to the general public. This is a great exposure opportunity for a customization company!

Ad Space and Site Improvements

Selling ad space on my website is something I would like to do more of. I did make $100 last year selling ad space on my site. An exciting start, but traffic is not flowing like a 2 year old website should have and people are not sending their car pics for me to post :(. The pics posted are from family and friends only so far, besides some that I got a representative from TAG motorsports to generously provide a few years ago. I think this website will have to become interactive, like an automotive Facebook to become successful. To do this, I will need a new web host, unless my current host has made some serious changes that I don't know about (yeah, right). Problem is I don't want to cancel with them because once the URL is available someone will steal it. Maybe other publishing software is compatible, I'll look into this. For time being the site could be great, just need people to be interested in showing off their vehicle! If the site becomes far more popular, I'm sure selling ad space will be no challenge.

Do you think people drive cars because they like them, or because other people like them? I like cars because I like them. It's fine if others were to like my car but that's not what motivates my interest in them. For some the car is just for the status or seeking recognition I think. We have all heard the stories of the people with a tiny crappy house and a luxury car just so they can portray a false image. But as the economy has changed, living in a small crappy house is so common place this concept doesn't seem to fit well anymore. I think generally people drive cars because of what others think about them. I am in the minority that am concerned with what I like, so what if what I like happens to be a McLaren, lol. My more realistic dream car is a Dodge Viper or even a suped up Camaro. I really like those 2 styles of cars. I would be very concerned with getting the highest quality theft deterrent system if I had that nice of a car for obvious reasons. So my main concern with what others think of it is mainly for safety purposes. I am probably the type to keep my crappy car and drive that around people and only take the nice car out every now and again on my own. Sort of like Batman, except without all the crime-fighting.

I have a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. What kind of car do you have? I'd like to get a suped up sports car someday. I like to look at cars on the internet. I have calendars of cars as well. I don't know all the technical data or how to service my car, but I enjoy a good ride and the looks and speed of a quality vehicle. Probably the fastest car I've driven is a Cobra Mustang, the engine really roars on that thing, I think it has a v8. I have always dreamed of owning a Dodge Viper and still hope to some day. I haven't seen this years model of Viper, I hope they changed it, I hated the 2010 version.
